Making your Spaces Bloom

As the spring season approaches fast, it’s time for you to spruce up your living space and add a bit of a floral and Spring-y touch.  Although there are countless ways to make your space bloom, these few will definitely take the win this season.

A chic way to enhance your space is to use a few timeless pieces of flower vases and spread them all around your house.  Classic white vases in a variety of forms and sizes are my favorites. I’ve discovered that flowers in them look great in any space, regardless of the color or kind you put in them.

Living rooms gotta be lively and refreshing; and the best way to do that is to bring in large, leafy plants and planters inside! Here are some plants that work perfectly in giving your living room a fresh look that goes with the season flawlessly.

  • Snake plants
  • Ficus
  • Parlor Palms

They not only elevate the look of your living room but also offer many health benefits– do check them out!

Another way to spice up the look of your rooms according to the Spring season is to add splashes of earthy tones here and there.  You can repaint your walls and ceilings, add runners and rugs, or use minimalistic paintings to give that cute, sophisticated touch.

Maybe it’s time you change the fabric of your couch to a pretty pastel pink or a simple nude beige, throw on a contrasting runner and some floral cushions, and voila!

Garlands and wreaths are not just a Christmas item. You can use fake flowers to add some razzle dazzle to your spaces. Livening up spaces might be a tricky task to take on, but you can never go wrong with a bunch of pretty flowers weaved together.  You can hang a colorful garland on the door of your entrance, or right above the fireplace or you can also hang a bunch of garlands in a sequence on your staircase.

However, make sure that you use light colors that match the vibe of the season. Light blue, pink, pastel green, purple, and yellow are some great combos for Spring.  Steer clear of dark green, red, and very leafy garlands because that would just make your house look like Santa’s workshop.

Making your spaces bloom this spring must be on your to-do list and although it can be a tricky task, I hope you this will help you find your style and give your space the personality that matches you.

Bye for Now!
